Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Participatory Technologies Srl, a company that provided open-source e-democracy solutions to transnational political organizations across three continents. (USA) Wendell Wallach has an international reputation as an expert on the ethics and governance of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence,and biotechnologies.. He is Uehiro/Carnegie Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs (CCEIA) where he co-directs the AI and Equality Initiative. He is also senior advisor to The Hastings Center and a scholar at the Yale University Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics where he chaired Technology and Ethics studies for eleven years.
